San Francisco Chronicle: Day 4

The highlight of today was a trip to the de Young Museum.
There is far too much to see, but here are a few of the (smaller) exhibits...

Contemporary Omie Bark Cloth




Metal Vessels by June Schwarcz. Shaped sheets of copper, electroformed, some enameled.





Hanging wire sculptures by Ruth Asawa. I love the shadows formed on the walls.

  1. Those sculptures! Oh! What a treat that must have been to see.

    Here's a thought...would you meet Pam and I in NYC one day while she's here? Think about it. Would definitely be fun.
