  1. I love gelatin prints, and have a pile of them waiting for the next metamorphosis! Kathleen's gingko leaves are my favorite--it's a tree that always has a special place in my thoughts.

    1. I love the whole process of printing with gelatin. It's so tactile and spontaneous. I find that people really open up and are child-like and gleeful when they are printing. Would love to see what you do with your prints.

  2. Kathleen's purple and yellow prints are so beautiful! I love Rosa's feathers too but all of them are fun and wonderful.

    1. I always love seeing what each student focuses on when working with gelatin. I learn something new each session. I decided to bring feathers this time and they printed beautifully.

    1. It's the first time I've taught gelatin all on it's own so was nervous about the time frame. A very enthusiastic bunch and they caught on right away and produced a lot...even more than what is pictured here.

  4. What lovely prints! I especially like the subtle colours achieved by Christie and the yellows purples and reds from Kathleen.

    1. I was so proud and happy to see what these students accomplished in 3 hours...and many had had no previous surface design experience. Gelatin printing is so tactile...it just brings out that child-like creativity!
