The winner of the drawing for the Challenge Fabric will get to choose between these two Peace Flags.
The Challenge will continue until midnight, Saturday, September 22nd Eastern Time USA. Drawing for the Blue Challenge Fabric (which is a Peace Flag this month in honor of International Peace Day) will be on Sunday, September 23. Remember to be eligible to win the Peace Flag, you must play along.

Gorgeous blues! I love all colors, but blue continues to be my favorite, especially any blue and white combination. Beautiful images!

DeleteI'm not so sure about the blue tongue (altho we have a great blue tongued lizard here in Oz) but the depth of blue in some of the others is breathtaking. Love the blue peace flags too! Am off to checkout Jo's now (even tho I saw her last night!)

DeleteCouldn't resist the blue tongue. It's my Mom on her 80th birthday (I can see her cringing as I write this!). She had just spent part of the day with her grandchildren at the pool and we were enjoying some frozen ice treats. Her's was supposed to be blueberry. Loved the youthfulness of her sticking out her blue tongue.

DeleteWhat a vibrant collection of blues! The one of your mom's tongue made me smile...it's kind of a shock when you first see it, but learning the story behind it is fun. The blue backgrounds on your peace flags came out beautifully...I'm looking forward to visiting the link you sent to see at all of the peace-inspired creativity.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lisa. At first I was a little stymied by blue. But then became inspired. I did a whole series of photos with cobalt blue vases and candlesticks. So who knows...maybe a future post. Glad you enjoyed Mom's blue tongue! I have photos of my final Peace Flags here (Peace: Honoring a Friend) and over at the other blog...which has AMAZING art pieces!
