Savannah Walk #3

Having a sense of perspective.

Looking at the big and small picture.

Looking at things from many different angles.

Walking in another's shoes.

These are all things I've been thinking about this week.

Tomorrow I head back to Virginia. Some things have been accomplished. The big, difficult things are yet to come.

  1. 'Perspective' - a word that seems to be coming up for me a lot lately too. I find it can ground me when the details of life seem heavy & complicated.
It sounds like you've had a difficult past few days, but managed to find some comfort in your daily walks. Thank you for sharing your photos...(I love the path).

    1. Thanks for your comment, Lisa. It's difficult to see my parents' situation. I was glad to help out for a week...but hard to leave. I believe my mom now understands that she can no longer take care of my dad...but it is a difficult realization. The daily walks were certainly a gift.

  2. These experiences take a lot out of us, even when we don't mind giving it. Some healing time is necessary and not always available. I hope everything works out for the best. I love the way you focused your thoughts under 'perspective'.

    1. Thanks Ersi. It was amazing to me that each day I took a walk a theme would arise. It was hard to keep a sense of perspective dealing with the situation. But then I saw it in nature and it really made me think. I really treasured those morning walks!
