And, once again, here is this month's Challenge Fabric.

A labor of love, if I say so myself!

The Challenge will continue until midnight, Saturday, November 17 Eastern Time USA. Drawing for the  VIOLET Challenge Fabric will be on Sunday, November 18. Remember to be eligible to win the Challenge fabric you must play along.

Also be sure to visit Jennifer's blog for more VIOLET inspired by her twin daughters.

There's something about those gorgeous VIOLET skies in Greece and Ersi has captured them exquisitely! But I have to say that the VIOLET fog in Spain just blew me away...

Fiona at Paper Ponderings speaks of taking in the little moments in life and provides us with a burst of VIOLET from her garden.

Lisa at Arzigogolare takes us on a VIOLET tour of the town of Montepulciano in Italy. She not only found our Challenge color in the town, but in the lovely countryside nearby.

Here are some VIOLET shots from Joan...

  1. A beautiful selection of violets, Julie! Oh, those plums! And that daring violet house is an eye-catcher. Joan's eggplants made me laugh, I have some in my freezer and never thought of photographing them. This month's colour is a great success, thanks for everything.

    1. And thank you for participating! This has been a very fun challenge. Jennifer and I are considering extending it for at least one more month. It's been a great way to get to know people.

  2. I love your violet images, Julie! Again, such a variety, from nature's dappled plums to the luxurious Vera Wang dress and the audacious violet house - gorgeous! It seems there could have been many different directions to pursue with violet this month, and you captured many of them. I had fun with this month's too - thanks again for the inspiration!

    1. Thank you, Lisa. I'm always inspired by your beautiful photos..they make me want to visit Italy again!
This month was sure a lot easier than indigo...but I'm still amazed how that difficult color inspired you to create art.

    2. I realized later that I'd forgotten to comment on the most beautiful photo of all - your fabric! I enjoyed reading about your progress in the earlier post, and just wanted to say that it came out very well.
Here's hoping you make it back to Italy... :)
