A beautiful selection of violets, Julie! Oh, those plums! And that daring violet house is an eye-catcher. Joan's eggplants made me laugh, I have some in my freezer and never thought of photographing them. This month's colour is a great success, thanks for everything.

DeleteI love your violet images, Julie! Again, such a variety, from nature's dappled plums to the luxurious Vera Wang dress and the audacious violet house - gorgeous! It seems there could have been many different directions to pursue with violet this month, and you captured many of them. I had fun with this month's too - thanks again for the inspiration!

DeleteThis month was sure a lot easier than indigo...but I'm still amazed how that difficult color inspired you to create art.
I realized later that I'd forgotten to comment on the most beautiful photo of all - your fabric! I enjoyed reading about your progress in the earlier post, and just wanted to say that it came out very well.
