February Stitch-In

I'm catching up on blog posting! Here are some images from last Sunday's Stitch-In.

It's always so enjoyable to get together to stitch and exchange ideas. This time, there were six of us including three students from my Hand Stitching class. Erica, Sarah and Ann were working on their Layer Challenges. Exciting beginnings (and today in class, I got to see the final work--amazing! Blog posts about the class will follow soon).

Susan is continuing to work on her most recent Ancients piece...I love the colors and the stitched details!

Zita was stitching on the felted piece that her late friend started. The more I looked at the piece, the more tiny stitched details I found. This is a labor of love and connection to her dear friend.

Zita was also adorned in the most amazing silk and wool Nuno-felted shawl...that she created! Here's a small detail.

It was a joy to spend Sunday afternoon with all of you!
